C.L. King & Associates Recognized One of Top U.S. Broker/Dealers for Excellence in Execution Quality

C.L. King & Associates, a leading boutique broker/dealer, was highly ranked in the latest Transaction Cost Analysis survey conducted for Institutional Investor Magazine by Elkins/McSherry, a division of Boston-based State Street Corporation.

  • 3rd in Small Cap Execution among U.S. Equity Brokers with an average cost of 20.15 basis points below the volume-weighted average price per transaction.
  • 4th in Medium Orders of 10,000 – 50,000 Shares among U.S. Equity Brokers with an average cost 17.03 basis points below the volume-weighted average price per transaction.
  • 4th in Small Orders of 10,000 shares or less among U.S. Equity Brokers with an average cost of 21.75 basis points below the volume-weighted average price per transaction.
  • 1st in Micro Cap Execution among U.S. Equity Brokers with an average cost of 42.37 basis points below the volume-weighted average price per transaction.

This annual survey measures the ability of broker/dealers to provide competitive executions as measured by Arrival Price across order size and market capitalization. The results were based on more than 24 million trades by 1,900 brokerages and 1,000 investment managers covering more than 16,000 individual stocks during the 12 months ended June 30.
