Overview

C.L. King & Associates is a 100% woman-owned full-service investment bank and broker-dealer founded in 1972. We provide capital market underwriting, investment banking, debt and equity securities sales and trading, and investor services to corporations and institutions.

With our broad, deep and differentiated securities distribution, we add value to offerings where we act as a syndicate underwriter. For companies determined to add diversity to underwriting groups, we are an effective and meaningful WBE partner.

History

In 1972, Candace King Weir founded C.L. King & Associates in Albany, New York, as an equity research boutique committed to providing value-oriented research and analysis of investment opportunities to institutional investors. The firm has grown and prospered over time and today is a capital markets focused financial services firm and broker-dealer in the New York City area and Albany. Ms. Weir founded Paradigm Capital Management in 1994 as an institutional asset manager.
